MPBC’s RMH-family provides the ultimate ease in designing and customizing telecommunication optical links. The mix and match concept behind this product line allows you to configure a system that is ideal for a specific project, yet provides the flexibility for effortlessly upgrading the unit for future bandwidth requirements.

Raman Pump Source, Amplifier, PreAmplier and Transponder Cards, and Alarm and Monitoring Units are configured into our subrack. These PIUs are ‘hot-swappable’ for maintenance and repairs with the minimum disturbance to traffic on the network.

The Remote Equipment Management (REM) - Series, provides the RMH subrack with local and remote monitoring and control. From 200 km to 500 km and beyond, the RMH-Series has the equipment that will support your complete telecom system needs.

Optical Transponders
The MPBC RMH-OTM transponder series is the complement to the RMH-Series of amplifiers. Units are available at STM-4 and STM-16 data rates. The unit converts a short-haul optical signal and grooms it for transmission in the 1550 nm band. Signal grooming includes Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS) suppression and Forward-Error-Correction (FEC).

Raman
The RMH-Raman pump units are ideal for links requiring that extra system margin. Distributed Raman pre-amplification is also a very simple method of upgrading already existing link.

Super Raman
The award-winning Super Raman utilizes a patented technology to provide distributed Raman amplification via third-order cascaded pumping. This product offers outstanding OSNR, which over a fiber optic link can translate in up to 2.5 dB of additional margin improvement compared to conventional Raman pumping.

Remote Equipment Management
