The OEM modules are small form factor units designed to be incorporated into telecom manufacturers’ subracks. A typical module includes the pump laser diodes, all passive optical components, monitor photodiodes and the drive and control electronics. Status monitors of the pump LD currents, case temperature and the output Raman pump power (at each individual wavelength in the case of dual-wavelength models) are provided.
