The market for wireless repeaters and CATV networks moves towards higher bandwidths and demands a tight control of analog parameters. PX10F2-S01 is a hermetically sealed module containing a high speed Albis InGaAs photodiode satisfying the requirements of this growing market. The assembly offers an excellent responsivity and a high speed response for wavelengths ranging from 1260 to 1620 nm. The package is based on a 5 pin TO-46 header and comes with an LC-receptacle for easy optical alignment. The large area photodiode and the unique optical assembly enable detection of signals coming from single- as well as multimode fibers, generating a responsivity of 0.85 A/W and 0.75 A/W respectively.
