| The PDCS12T is a fully qualified high speed photodiode chip available with either a coplanar or a dual-pad layout and an optical aperture with a diameter of 12 μm. The top illuminated photodiode is optimized for single-mode dataand telecom applications up to 43 Gb/s and offers an excellent responsivity and high speed response from 1260 to 1620 nm. The photodiode has a low capacitance and achieves full speed at a bias voltage of only 1.5 V. The coplanar pad structure provides a 50 ohm impedance matched connection to a broadband amplifier. The dual-pad layout offers a large cathode pad for versatile assembly options with short bond wires. |
